Recently someone posted one of my old works on Deviantart.  When I went to link my complaint to them, I found the old site that it rested on was gone.  So I'll be posting some old works here for future reference.  Here, Raven, Starfire and Batgirl deal with the ever-popular evil twins.

Here we find Blackfire having fallen into a trap she set for Starfire and now the pair of them are helpless prisoners of the Gordanians.  This is probably one of the pictures that got me in trouble with Photobucket.  Ah, I do enjoy drawing Blackfire in compromising positions.

There are a couple of problems with this picture.  The Gordanian is positioned a little too close to the prisoners.  But more importantly, both Starfire and Blackfire's faces are drawn too harshly.  Yes, their features are twisted up by the naked fury they both feel (they're probably furious about being naked, for one), but I probably could have done it without twisting the beauty of the characters' faces.

Blackfire has acquired a new pony for her stable.  Naturally the ponygirl was her dear sister. 

Looking back on it, the picture does share a theme with the Shego/Kim Possible pony pics.  I guess I'm beginning to repeat myself.  It is a favorite theme.

A picture I did contrasting the television Starfire with the comic book Starfire.  Poor TV Starfire is envious of her older, more well-endowed comic book self. 

I always loved the way George Perez designed and drew Starfire.  She was a wonderfully unique creature, ten kinds of sexy, but an innocent kind of sexy.  She was like your little sister, if you little sister happened to be a Playboy pinup.  And the way he drew her hair as this cascading mound of curls was magnificent.  It had to be a lot of work, but George Perez never seemed to shy away from such detail.  Bet his inkers loved him, though.

The way they draw her today is just a little more cynical.  She's like your little sister, but after she's had two failed marriages and a stint in rehab.

Harkening back to those wonderful days when Teen Titans and Justice League Unlimited ran back to back on Saturday nights.  One day I got the masochistic idea of what it would be like to do a picture with all of the WB animated heroines trussed up and stuffed into a rather cramped space.

Unfortunately, as is a sad trait of mine, my concentration tends to wander after about the third figure in a picture, or the third panel on a page.  I get impatient and start rushing to finish.  That's why Starfire, Raven and Zatanna look so lousy.  That and trying to copy Bruce Timm's style, which is never easy.

Third request involving The Joker and one of the Teen Titans, based on the episode where all of the other Titans tried on Robin's costume while he was away training.  Naturally, as the old gag goes, if you put on the costume, the villain only sees the costume and can't see that Starfire is taller than Robin . . . and a girl . . . and an alien.  Oh well, jokes on her.

More fun with Batgirl and the Titans.  The Joker plans to torture them by telling them really bad jokes.  Raven's already at the breaking point.

Looking back at it, Joker is clearly too big in the picture and Starfire is too small.

Another request, but one with two subjects I love: Teen Titans and evil twins.  Raven, Starfire and Batgirl have been cloned and their clones programmed to be eeeeeeevillllllll.  And naturally they can't venture out to do evil without swiping the costumes of the originals.

The perspective is a little off.  I should have either dropped the two Starfires lower in the picture or raised the angle of the floor trim.
